Goucher College is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming educational and working environment for all members of its community. On this site, students, faculty, staff, and college community members will find information regarding our policies and procedures related to sexual misconduct and nondiscrimination. Confidential resources are available to assist members of the College community in accessing support services and/or learning about their options. At any time, an individual may consult the Office of Title IX to report a concern and can find additional information on the website.
Anyone who believes they were subjected to gender-based discrimination or harassment is encouraged to report these incidents to the Office of Title IX. Goucher will take steps to investigate, eliminate, and remediate any form of discrimination or harassment. As a reminder, all faculty, staff, and administrators who are made aware of an allegation of gender-based discrimination or harassment must report the incident to the Office of Title IX. Individual employees who are serving in a privileged professional capacity referred to as confidential consultants (e.g., mental health counselors, nurses, and doctors, or clergy acting in a spiritual capacity) are not bound by this expectation, except as required by law.
The Medical Transportation Program - hosted by the Office of Title IX - provides free transportation to medical appointments, including Title IX related appointments. Please visit the Medical Assistance & Transport page for more information.
